#HOMEWORKFUN

#HOMEWORKFUN is an after school study and homework assistance program, for students in 5th through 8th grades.

#HOMEWORKFUN exists to provide a safe place and environment where students can work on their homework assignments and benefit from tutoring assistance where it is needed. The program is led by retired teachers and helpers to maximize success.

Every Monday and Tuesday afternoon, from 2:45pm to 4:30pm, students are welcomed into the Union Church, and begin the afternoon with a Bible study, followed by homework time, snack time (graciously provided by parents and church members), and ends with gym time, which can include basketball, soccer, and pickle ball. Students can earn rewards for academic achievements, and holidays are extra fun!

The program is funded through various contributors, such as Branch County Foundation, Altrusa Club, Ed & Thelma Bowerman of EAB Fabrication, and personal donations from church members.
