Our Purpose...
is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to maintain an effective witness and ministry in the service of the community.
Our Identity...
is a gathered community of believers who share two denominational experiences, American Baptist and Presbyterian Churches. Union Church was formed as a venture to bring these two heritages together for the work of Christ's Kingdom.
Our Beliefs...
are that the Holy Bible is the word of God. We recognize that there may be differences of interpretation, and believing in the priesthood of believers, we accept the historic Apostles Creed as our basic standard of faith.
"I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
